Your new blog sounds great, this one is right on target. How do we get some of these people to see they are not advancing the Kingdom of God on earth. No one every came to a saving knowledge by law that is why Jesus had to come. We need some leaders in this country that have compassion for all people’s in their sites not just for the choosen few.

The problem is not demonizing the opposition it it dehumanizing the opposition. It may just well be semantics, but after all Hitler’s appeal was for the uber race over the subhumans. An abortion doctor is not human so we can kill him, how someone can be pro-life and justify killing. Blacks and hispanics are inferior in intellect and morals, that is how Jim Crow laws were rationalized.

One thing I wondered - are you getting an atheist voice in there somewhere (if it’s already stated, I didn’t get to read the whole site yet…)? Sometimes, in these talks about faith and who has it and who’s hijacked it, I find that the so-called “non-believer” is underrepresented. I’d like to see someone discuss Sam Harris’s book, “End of Faith” for instance, and also hear an atheist talk about how most of us are not non-spiritual - on the contrary, we find our spiritual outlets in the most creative ways. Anyway, just a thought. It’s a great site with great writers, and I look forward to reading it more.
