There is a cult in Richmond NH called the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. They call themselves “militant Catholics”, however, the Diocese of Manchester does not recognize them and advises all true Catholics to stay away. The SPLC’s Intelligence Report has labeled them one of the “Dirty Dozen” Catholic hate groups in the country. The Boston Globe did a story in which 2 prominent members to the SBC DENIED the holocaust. Boston Channel 5 Chronicle did a investigative report on the SBC last Fall. On their own website (catholicism.org) they state their desire to covert America, change the Constitution and take over the public education system.

For the past few years they have been battling the Town of Richmond in their desire to build a new church/school in a rural residential area. The planning board and the zoning board put restrictions on them that they did not like. At first they decided to sue the Town of Richmond. Recently, they expanded their lawsuit and are now suing the 12 indvidual board members for $4.25 MILLION DOLLARS. Richmond has only 1100 people and annual budget is less than 1 million dollars. If sucessfull, the SBC will bankrupt the Town and most likely the 12 individuals. People who were planning to run for board positions are saying “no way”.

Most recently, even though I was not part of the law suit,I was served a subpoena. I am supposed to provide all records, emails, conversations that I have ever had to anyone , anywhere about the SBC. I am being forced to hire an attorney at my own expense. I consider this harassment and intimidation.
I will try to fight this as hard as I can. If anyone knows someone out there that can help us save our town, please get back to me.
