I just missed out on your diary on Kos about The Eliminationists.
I have that book.
I was so excited to see someone write on it but, sorry to see it drop without much notice.
I would love to see more info out on the book for Kossacks and the like to know about it. It is vital for many of us to read it and understand what kind of people we are dealing with here.
Teabaggers are not just nuts. Many are crazy and the people pulling the strings are dangerous.
The one thing that has the most concern for me is the fact that the press is so ready to follow and repeat anything the right tells them.
They will pick up the talking points and send them out thru the guise of it coming from mainstream.
The press is just so gullible with the right and so easy to make them dance to their tune. The press seems to be unable to see the reality of the rightwing.
They clamor for their approval.
And treat mainstream center left as if it's the far left fringe.
Everything has become so screwed up and unless we know about the people who are on the other side doing this, we will never make headway in putting the country back on track.
anyway, thanks for the diary

Hi, Fred,

I was about to write my first diary at Daily Kos when I searched existing entries and found yours titled "Beck, Romney & The Future of the Religious Right". Outstanding.

I have put a link to your site on mine, a reciprocal link would be appreciated but not expected.

Best regards,
Bill Wexler

Thanks for sharing this data. Given the outline of her religious delusion it is not surprising that Sarah Palin still wants the rest of us to believe that abstinence only sex education works when her only daughter is pregnant out of wedlock.

It is not surprising that Sarah Palin wanted to ban books when she insists on public prayer in schools when jesus commands that christians go into a closet to pray and not to pray in public as the Pharcees do.

It's a shame this twisted worldview has taken root in secular US.

How a religion that hates representative Government and insists on Ordained Kings and Queens rule over us as subjects which our forebears rejected and revolted against is simply amazing to true patriots everywhere.

We need to take back out secular Republic and once again remove the tyranny of Dominionism in all its forms.

"They are also spurred by the fact that, to a woman, they believe we are in the end times of biblical prophesy: When tribulation falls, the holy are
raptured up to heaven, and on earth, the antichrist takes over, mobilising the world under a malignant one-world government. They believe the millennium bug
will enable President Clinton to declare martial law, the first step to one-world government. It is one of the many indicators of the end times, along with the return of Russian Jews to Israel, the massing of Arabs to the north of the Jewish homeland, and the fires, floods, mud slides and earthquakes that have
plagued the United States during the past few years."

I came upon this article the other day and cannot help noticing that Sarah Palin was mayor of Wasilla when the new millenium began. I have to wonder if this is just a coincidence, or if perhaps she believed the world was coming to an end and wanted to be in a position of power to oversee things at that crucial moment. Anyone know how she handled the 'millenium bug' as mayor of Wasilla? Or if her family made preparations for the worst?
